Doctrinal Statement

We believe that the Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments, is inspired of God, and is of supreme and final authority in faith and life.

We believe in the supernatural as the vital element in the revelation and operation of the Christian Faith.

We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, and that He is true God and true man, and is the only and sufficient Mediator between God and Man.

We believe in the personality of the Holy Spirit and that His ministry is to reveal Christ to men in the regeneration and sanctification of their souls.

We believe that man was created in the image of God, and that he sinned and thereby incurred spiritual death.

We believe in the vicarious death of the Lord Jesus Christ for our sins, in the resurrection of His body, His ascension into Heaven, and His personal and visible future return to the earth; and that salvation is received only through personal faith in Him.

We believe that baptism is immersion of a believer in water, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; setting forth the essential facts in redemption - the death and resurrection of Christ; also essential facts in the experience of the believer - death to sin and resurrection to newness of life; and that the Lord's Supper is a commemoration of the Lord's death until He comes.

We believe that a New Testement church is a body of believers thus baptized, associated for worship, service, the spread of the Gospel, and the establishing of the Kingdom in all the world. AMEN "

Church Covenant

Having been led, as we believe, by the spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost, we do solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.

We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church, in knowledge, holiness and comfort, to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline and doctrines; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, the spread of the gospel through all nations.

That, as the church is the light of the world, and salt of the earth, we will seek divine aid, to enable us to deny ungodliness, and every worldly lust, to walk circumspectly in the world, that we may win the souls of men.

That we will, in all conditions, even till death, strive to live to the glory of Him, who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

"And may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make us perfect in every good work to do His will, working in us that which is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory, forever and ever. AMEN."
